Community development

In addition to practical horticulture delivery, I support place-based community development to enhance social resilience and capacity building. This takes on a number of forms, including strategy development, creating case studies and evidencing impact, bid writing and fundraising, I’m also an Action Learning facilitator and currently training as a Social and Therapeutic Horticulture Practitioner. Although useful in the context of horticulture and green spaces, these methods and models can be applied in various social settings to support a wide range of community and not-for-profit groups.
